BELCHERTOWN — A 61-year-old man was reported to be in stable condition Wednesday evening after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and North Main Street, according to a post on the Belchertown Police Department’s Facebook page.
Police were called to the scene of the accident at around 5:09 p.m., and the pedestrian was taken to the hospital, police said.
The road was shut down for about two hours while police investigated, and police said the driver is cooperating.
The incident is currently under investigation by Belchertown Police.
