The Amherst College men’s lacrosse team held off a late Endicott push Tuesday, winning 12-10 at Pratt Field.
Evan Wolf put the Mammoths (6-0) up 12-8 from Dylan Peabody with 1 minute, 28 seconds left, but Endicott scored the next two goals to pull closer before time expired.
Matt Solberg had four goals for Amherst. Wolf added a hat trick and an assist. Colin Minicus passed three assists.
Jon Coffey scored twice, while Brogan Mahon had two assists. Chad Simmons made 13 saves.
Wellesley 21, UMass Dartmouth 11 — Bridget Harrington (Florence) made eight saves but the Corsairs (1-2) fell at home.
Holy Cross 11, UMass 2 — Anthony Vindetto had three hits in a loss at the New England Baseball Complex in Northborough.
Jack Pawloski struck out four in 2⅔ innings of relief, allowing one hit.
Collin Shapiro and Eddy Hard drove in runs for the Minutemen (4-9).
