HADLEY — A 26-year-old Belchertown man was airlifted to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with serious injuries after an accident involving two motorcycles Friday night.
At 8:50 p.m., Hadley police received reports of an accident involving the motorcycles at the intersection of Stockbridge and Roosevelt streets, said Sgt. Kenneth Hartwright.
The two riders were traveling together, Hartwright said, and only one person sustained injuries in the crash.
The crash is under investigation by Hadley Police, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section unit and the Northwest District Attorney’s Office, according to a statement.
