NORTHAMPTON — Three teenagers were arrested early Monday morning after police stopped them and found the two cars they were driving had been stolen.

At 1:45 a.m., police pulled over a Mazda with a broken brake light on Elm Street, and a Hyundai traveling with it also pulled over, police reported on Facebook.

The Mazda, driven by a 15-year-old boy, had been reported stolen in Holyoke, police said. The boy was arraigned in juvenile court in Hadley on a charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle. Police do not generally identify minors charged with a crime.

Police learned the Hyundai had been reported stolen from Village Hill in Northampton. Driver Delyon Wright, 21, and passenger Kira Tillman, 19, both of Holyoke, were arraigned in Northampton District Court on charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle, police said.
