The Springfield College men’s basketball team beat SUNY Canton, 74-49, in the NCAA Division III Tournament first round on Friday night in Blake Arena.
The 17th-ranked Pride (23-4) will host Hobart in the second round on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
Jake Ross (Northampton) led Springfield with 16 points, seven rebounds, six steals and five assists, while Daryl Costa netted a career-high 15 points to go along with four steals.
