NORTHAMPTON — There were smiles all around when Jonathan Weil and his daughter, Maddie, 7½, prompted their dogs, Soupy, 10, and Maisie, 12, into a howling song for neighbor Jared Kajka and his daughters, Alison, 6, and Emily, 9, during a walk down Nutting Avenue in Northampton on Tuesday. The Kajkas own two golden retrievers who watched and listened from behind a glass porch door.
