Charlie Anischik scored seven goals, as the South Hadley boys lacrosse team beat Northampton 16-7 on the road Thursday.

Caden Haramee found the net five times. Owen Dawson scored twice, and Ethan Roy, Chase Mathers and Kent Molzna each found the net once,

Yano Porter had four points for Northampton on two goals and two assists.

Chance Asbornsen added two assists and a goal. Connor Tobin found the net twice, Ryan O’Connor added a goal and an assist and Vincent Fahey scored once. Daniel Huntley made 14 saves.

East Longmeadow 16, Amherst 4 – Dom McDonald and Tyler Borrell scored two goals each for the Hurricanes.

Girls lacrosse

Agawam 14, Northampton 12 – Chloe Denhart scored five goals and had an assist in a road loss. Julienee Lussier had a hat trick, Shea Crowther added two goals and Ellie Mahoney also found the net.

Gabby Adorno stopped 11 shots.

Belchertown 15, Chicopee Comp 5 – Allison Besette socred five goals in a road win. Erin Lucas contributed four points on two goals and two assists. Elyssa Wrona had a hat trick. Paige Magner and Bella St. George (assist) added two goals each.

Samantha Pacunas found the net, and Laura Sotitopoulos and Adrien Wise each had an assist.

Boys tennis

Amherst 4, Longmeadow 1 — James Serhant bested Cole Guidrey 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles for the Hurricanes, who beat the Lancers for the first time in at least 14 years.

At No. 2 singles, Aengus Cox took down Tommy McMahon, 6-3, 6-0.

Longmeadow’s Sean Baker overcame Miles Jeffires at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-4.

Sachin Khashu and Josh Kellog beat Noah Barnett and Kira Grewal 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles

Amherst’s No. 2 doubles team of Siddu Sitaraman an Rohan Shenoy won 6-2, 6-2 against Zhenghao Li and Ben Norman.

Belchertown 4, Westfield 1 — The Orioles won every position except No. 1 singles.

Tom Vinagre survived a tough 7-5 first set against Seth Bordendorf then won the second 6-2.

Trevor Weiss handled Alex Dawicki 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.

At No. 1 doubles, Belchertown’s Colby Masse and Carson Boscher took down Mason Hunes and Jack Keeney, 6-1, 6-0.

Joe Bianco and Kiernan Corish  won 6-0, 6-0 against Di Monish Siwa and Wunnyuriti Ziblim.

Northampton 4, Minnechaug 1 — Northampton’s Stefan Johnson cruised in straight sets at No. 1 singles against Joe Gentile.

At No. 2 singles Aidan Metz defeated Evan Kennedy, 6-2, 6-1.

Ethan Metz and Durrell Patrick beat Ayden Aldes at No. 1 doubles, 6-1, 6-4.

Max Cahillane and Maitreya Abend survived three sets 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-5), 10-6 against Justin Hanna and Matt Sherman.
