NORTHAMPTON — Several lanes in the area of Interstate 91 exit 25, Route 9 and Damon Road will be closed to traffic overnight early this week for road work, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced.
Starting Monday night at 7 through Tuesday morning at 5:30, MassDOT will close the I-91 exit 25 northbound and southbound off-ramp and on-ramp. Police details will detour traffic to exit 27 for the southbound on-ramp, and through exit 27 to Route 5 southbound to Damon Road for northbound off-ramp.
Then on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and extending to Wednesday at 5:30 a.m., crews will close Damon Road. Police will detour traffic from Route 9 to Damon Road through Route 5 northbound, and traffic from Damon Road to Route 9 through Route 5 southbound.
