The valley is well known to have advocates for many issues but also failing to recognize the repercussions that may follow.

“Our Bodies Our Choice” has been the mantra of pro-abortion activists around the nation as well as the Pioneer Valley. These advocates believe that the government should have no control over their bodies. People have definite opinions either way and while dissenting opinions in the Pioneer Valley are rarely allowed, it seems that there should be some merit for discussion.

Can those that have abortions travel, go to school or college, keep a job, enter businesses unchecked, go to a graduation, ball game or go to a public restroom without incident? Of course they can, but others cannot.

Does anyone fail to see the parallel between the abortion debate and the persecution of those that feel that the coronavirus vaccines are not well enough tested? They object to putting chemicals in their body, already have had the virus and have the anti-bodies to protect them or have parents decide what is best for their children and not bureaucrats, politicians, school boards and teachers unions?

All of this amid conflicting advice from “the experts.” They are confused as well as vilified by some people for being responsible for the possible spreading of the virus and possibly killing others, but ignoring the demonstrations and parties these very same people, as well as bureaucrats, attend after they proclaim that you cannot.

Can control of our bodies be seen as different whether a person has an abortion or doesn’t wish to have chemicals injected into their body that they may not trust? It seems that there are those that feel that government can control our bodies under certain conditions, so why not abortion?

There is of course one absolute. Anti-vaccine advocates can possibly infect others but so can those that have taken the vaccine. Abortion absolutely kills at least one.
