NORTHAMPTON — The Scarlet Sock Foundation presents an evening of fun, delight and spontaneity with Improv Through the Ages on Friday, Dec. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Northampton High School.

The foundation administers small grants to community organizations and individuals of all ages to increase exposure and access to social justice theater.

The aim is to increase the number of people from underrepresented populations involved in community-based theater. Scarlet Sock has funded social justice theater projects in Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin and Berkshire counties.

Improv Through the Ages will feature Heidi Haas’ theater students, the Ookie-Wookies (grades 1 through 4) and the Pickle Heads (grades 5-8), and the Northampton High School troupe, Funktionlust! Special guests include Kelsey Flynn and Paul McNeil from Happier Valley Comedy.

The show is family-friendly. Tickets to this fundraiser are available at the door, with $5 suggested admission for students and $15 for adults.
