We want to address the issue of income inequality because it impacts a lot of people. Many people who only get paid the minimum wage have to work multiple jobs at a time and often can’t spend as much time with their families as they want. Inflation has had a huge effect on the people who are impacted by income inequality. Some people can’t afford basic necessities like secure food and a safe place to live. That injustice needs to be stopped and it can be if we all work together and fight for a living wage.

We want everybody to be able to pay for what they need and not have to worry about their next rent check or utility bill. Minimum wage is a very important issue that needs to be addressed. There are two bills currently in the state Legislature, S.1200 and H.1925. These bills will raise the minimum wage in Massachusetts from $15 to $20 gradually by 2027. We hope the Legislature will support us.
