The recent Gazette article about a bill for state regulations over drone use caught my eye. I am a local real estate broker who has held the FAA certificate for required for commercial drone use since 2016. The airspace above us is known as the National Airspace System, and it is under the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal government. As such, the commonwealth can’t regulate it.
