In the Jan. 27 letter “Photo choice distracted from ICE coverage,” the writer expresses the opinion that it was a “significant editorial misstep” for the Gazette to publish the image of a protester carrying a Palestinian flag at an anti-ICE rally. Dear reader: It is all of a piece: ICE, the U.S. funding of the genocide in Gaza, L3 Harris. It is called, the military-industrial complex. The same group that Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned us to “guard against” in 1961.
See you at the next rally. I’ll be wearing a keffiyeh and waving a Palestinian flag.
