Reading in the Gazette about the $120,000 the Northampton Housing Authority spent on an investigation, the results of which will remain undisclosed, I remember a few years ago the uproar over hiring the now gone director. My only information was from the Gazette coverage, but I remember several people objecting to her hiring. Also seemed to me that the decision-makers in the city steamrolled over the objections of people who would have to work with her. Just wondering if the city powers listened with intent to share power to their constituents money might have been saved.
