Allen Woods’ April 27 column in the Gazette [“Rocket fuel for amoral, corrupt capitalism“] is spot on about the degradation of our society by unfettered capitalism. He is wrong, however, to characterize the behavior of Zuckerberg and Bezos as “amoral.” Someone is amoral if they do not know the difference between right and wrong or they have no moral compass. Hyenas for instance, or Donald Trump. I think that the tech billionaires probably do know the difference between right and wrong, they just choose the latter. That is “immoral.”
