I would imagine some of you reading this travel on Barrett Street here in Northampton. This is a residential street with a 25 mph speed limit. Not doing that got one of our cats ran over and was killed last year and just this evening another one of our cats was hit by a black SUV traveling West towards Jackson Street. I could not get the license plate number. The cat, black and not hard to see, luckily came running back and under the porch. Will not know if he is injured until he comes back out. This incident was reported to the Police Department. For God’s sake slow down and do the posted speed limit before it is a person that gets injured. To the driver who hit our cat, be aware of karma.
