New wellness center opens in Northampton

NORTHAMPTON — Northampton Mind and Body Wellness held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony July 29 at its location at 30 N. King St. Northampton Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra and Chamber of Commerce representatives joined the celebration.

The wellness center, founded by Nancy Godbout, a licensed independent clinical social worker, offers biohacking, functional medicine coaching, individual and couples therapy, weight loss medications, peptides, labs, cryotherapy, hyperbaric chamber treatment, lymphatic draining support, body scanning, red light sauna, reiki and spiritual care.

Godbout said she opened the center after a 20-year dream and her own experience managing polycystic ovarian syndrome, weight struggles and borderline diabetes through functional medicine. The business describes itself as focused on seven pillars of well-being: physical and emotional health, along with social, spiritual, environmental and occupational balance.
