Easthampton had four timeouts and the ball with the clock winding down at Mount Greylock.

The Eagles decided not to call any of them, and Zach Crisafulli hit a 3-pointer from the right corner with a few seconds left to give the Easthampton boys basketball team a 66-65 win Monday.

“We do better just running with it,” Easthampton assistant coach Joe Czarnik said.

Greylock didn’t call its timeouts either but couldn’t get a clean look to retake the lead.

Crisafulli finished with 14 points despite battling foul trouble for the game’s middle stretches. He is 21 points away from 1,000 in his career. The Eagles play at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palmer.

Zade Jenkins stepped in a scored 11 of his 13 points in the second quarter.

Ant Moynihan hit four 3s and scored 15 points for the Eagles (12-7).

“My teammates kept us within striking distance all game. We played exceptionally well as a unit,” Crisafulli said. “Zade and Ant really showed up tonight.”

Westfield 73, Amherst Regional 70 — The Bombers qualified for the postseason on the road against the Hurricanes.

Amherst (15-5) had a chance to get a late lead but missed a couple free throws.

Tajahn Joyner (15 points), Will Budington (10 points), Meikyle Murray (14 points), Seth Bella-Hunter (10 points) and Meikkel Murray (21 points) all scored in double-figures for Amherst (15-5).

Bella-Hunter added 16 rebounds and five blocks.

Pathfinder 68, Smith Vocational 48 — Luis Acosta hit four 3s and scored 14 points in the Vikings’ season finale.

Drew Brida hit three 3s for Smith Voke (6-14, 5-11 Tri-County).

Seniors Travis Wolf, Brida, Ryan York and Mike Marchand played their final game for the Vikings.

Hampshire Regional 69, Southwick 60 — Jacob Bihler scored 24 points with 10 rebounds in a road win for the Raiders (12-7).

Greg Laroche added 15 points with three 3-pointers for Hampshire.

Matt Babyak rolled his ankle early, but it is not considered to be serious. He is day-to-day according to coach Claud Salomao.

Tim Krasun scored 10 points filling in for Babyak.

Hopkins Academy 100, Mohawk 55 — Sam’i Roe led three Golden Hawks with more than 20 points, scoring 24 points and adding 10 assists and 10 rebounds in a triple-double.

John Earle and Jon Morrison scored 21 points each. Earle hit two 3s, and Morrison grabbed 10 rebounds.

Justin Ciaglo added 14 points for the Golden Hawks (17-2, 14-1 Hampshire).

Ice hockey

Chicopee 3, South Hadley 2 — Trevor Ouimet scored two goals, and Ben Watkins had two assists in a road loss.

Sean Doherty and Nick Thibault added assists for the Tigers (10-7-2, 9-4-2 Fay-Wright).

South Hadley Goalie Jake Remillard made 33 saves.
