Northampton police seek suspects who damaged 12 vehicles with pumpkins

NORTHAMPTON — Police responded to several neighborhoods in Northampton and Florence on Sunday for reports of vehicles being damaged by pumpkins being thrown at them. The incidents occurred sometime overnight from Saturday night into Sunday morning and it believed that the suspect(s) drove around throwing pumpkins at parked vehicles. According to police, 12 vehicles had windshields and hoods damaged. The damage occurred on Crescent, Franklin, Massasoit, Federal, Vernon and S. Main streets as well as Bancroft Road. Police are asking residents of these streets to check their video doorbell cameras for anything suspicious and anyone with information is asked to contact Northampton Police at 413-587-1100.
