GOSHEN — The town will begin its search for a new town administrator over the coming weeks, as Dawn Scaparotti has left for a new position as business administrator for the Hampshire Regional School District.

In the meantime Trishna Amirault, assistant town administrator, will work alongside the Select Board to fulfill the duties of town administrator until the hiring process is completed.

Scaparotti, town administrator for five years, said in a statement that she has been “fortunate to work with a great team on important tasks,” adding that she is “proud of the town’s accomplishments over her tenure.” She looks forward to the challenges of her new position.

The Select Board described Scaparotti as an “invaluable asset” in the statement, adding, “we are very grateful for her many years of dedicated service and commitment to the town. While she will be missed in the town offices, we congratulate her on her new position.”
