I am Jewish and feel dismayed to read that some Jewish parents see antisemitism in Hannah Moushabeck’s sweet children’s book, “Homeland, My Father Dreams of Palestine.”

This book presents no threat to Jewish children. Palestinian-Americans, on the other hand, are experiencing increased targeting and threats to their well-being and livelihoods. The Moushabeck family has grown up in and contributed to the community for years. Why is no concern being shown for the anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian harassment they are currently enduring?
