As a veteran who spilt blood for his country, I am now utterly embarrassed and ashamed of what my country has come to represent. Ethics, morality and mutual support, both globally and locally, are now lost and need to be regained.

The man nominally in charge of this nation is, among other undesirable things, a convicted felon and sex offender, compulsive liar, malignant egotistical narcissist, misogynist, racist, bully, hatemonger, personal coward, insurrectionist, traitor, idiot, and is wholly lacking in empathy or understanding of anyone’s angst outside his own.

He also lacks any understanding of history, morality, or diplomacy. We knew most of this from his first term, and yet — because Republicans lacked the guts to convict his impeachment in 2021 — we allowed him to run again. And win.

His niece put it quite simply: He has no redeeming qualities, and his own mother once called him an idiot.

His recent performance with his sycophantic VP J.D. Vance in trying (and failing) to bully Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy into giving up all or part of Ukraine to Putin is only the most glaring recent revelation of his character. Here we had a draft dodger trying to tell a war hero what to do.

Through his ignorance and stupidity, he is creating the biggest crash in our economy since 1929.

If you voted for 47 and you are not a billionaire or traitor or fascist or conspiracy theorist or congenital idiot, then you are a willing mark in history’s biggest con game.
