It deeply saddens me that Cashes Ledge, as flourishing as it is, is not being federally protected. Cashes Ledge, being a kelp forest that not only has a great amount of biodiversity, but also housing certain species of cod, is under threat from being more damaged from fishing and boats coming through the area.

For us, with a special climate on our coast and with Boston being our city, it only makes sense to protect our area. Together we can call on our legislators and urge them to protect that area.
