There has been a lot of discussion about the post office not being able to deliver all the ballots sent through the mail. This year my husband and I decided to vote by mail. But sadly, for the last local primary election, our ballots never made it to City Hall.

We were called on Election Day and told we had not voted yet. I explained that we mailed in our ballots three weeks before the election (I brought them to a post office box outside the post office). The next day, I called City Hall and they confirmed that our ballots were never received.

We would like to encourage anyone voting by mail to bring ballots to the voting mailbox outside City Hall. This is a very important election coming up and it would be a shame if your vote was not counted.
