The UMass men’s and women’s basketball teams on Wednesday released their non-conference schedules for the 2024-25 season.

The men’s basketball team faces 13 teams in its non-conference slate from Nov. 4 to Dec. 21, including six games against foes from New England and another against former A-10 rival Temple. UMass opens its 125th season on Nov. 4 against New Hampshire.

The Minutemen host seven games at the Mullins Center, in addition to a pair of neutral site games at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., one at the MassMutual Center in Springfield and one at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, N.Y.

The women’s basketball team plays 11 non-conference games, starting with its opener at Harvard on Nov. 4 and ending with a road game against UMass Lowell on Dec. 20. Six of the 11 non-conference games are at the Mullins Center.

After facing New Hampshire, the men’s basketball team travels to Morgantown, W.V. on Nov. 8 for the second end of a home-and-home series after last year’s 87-79 UMass win at the MassMutual Center.

Then, it’s off to the Nassau Coliseum for UMass’ first-ever matchup against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 13, part of a doubleheader with Hofstra and Seton Hall in the 2024 Equality Games. On Nov. 16, UMass hosts Hofstra.

The weekend before Thanksgiving, the Minutemen travel back to Mohegan Sun for the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off, where they’ll face Temple on Nov. 23 and Florida State on Nov. 24.

UMass travels to Harvard on Nov. 27 before a five-game homestand against NJIT (Dec. 1), Central Connecticut State (Dec. 4), UMass Lowell (Dec. 7), Div. 3 UMass Boston (Dec. 14) and Northeastern (Dec. 18). They finish their non-conference schedule on Dec. 21 with a matchup against Arizona State in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic at the MassMutual Center.
