SOUTH HADLEY — Authorities are investigating a minor accident involving a Massachusetts State Police pickup truck in South Hadley on Friday morning.
Sgt. Gary Herbert said the trooper operating the truck was en route to a call in Springfield at 7 a.m., traveling Southeast on Bridge Street, when he side-swiped a van, and the van hit another vehicle. The vehicles were near the Sunoco gas station, 17 Bridge St., where they pulled over.
There were no reported injuries, although the van sustained minor damage, Herbert added.
The accident remains under investigation.
