We are so taken up with bad news, I’d like to share some happy news with you instead.

Are you aware of Northampton Neighbors and the many services provided free of chargeby this organization? All available because the majority of services are provided by volunteers! Do you know about interest groups that develop from member needs — would you like to join one? There’s a walking group, garden group, book clubs, and many others too numerous to mention.

Since there is continued recruitment of new volunteers, meaning new sets of skills available by and for our membership, have you tried calling 413-341-0160 to see if your need matches an available volunteer service? Would you like to become a member? Have you logged into our web site info@northamptonneighbors.org to learn more about what a membership offers?

Did you know NN is bringing quarterly social gatherings freeto our membership as a way for all of us to connect with each other, have some fun, food, dancing and just enjoy spending time together?

Let’s not forget the wonderful, silly, community event called DoozyDo Parade coming in September?

Because of the wonderful connections I’ve made I wanted to give back where I could so volunteering seemed like the right thing for me although having moderate limitations made it seem impossible. NN found a place for me.

You may not have a need for services right now, but check us out, as you may one day need services for you, friends or family.
