SO HUGE, IT’S MASSIVE

They’re calling it “Western Massive,” and it’s so huge that it took three event producers to get it off the ground. The two-day celebration of music, art, community and culture takes place Friday and Saturday at Gateway City Arts, 92-114 Race St. in Holyoke, and boasts more than 42 musical acts in wildly ranging genres like reggae, dubstep, ska and electronic. Doors open Friday at 6 p.m., with music continuing until 1:45 a.m. Things get underway Saturday at noon and wrap up again at the same wee hour. $50 for a two-day pass. www.gatewaycityarts.com
