It’s a fact: Carolyn Shores Ness is committed to enhancing all aspects of life in Deerfield. Through her eagle eye on fiscal responsibility, she has supported businesses, farms, education, health and safety, seniors, roads and infrastructure, conservation, recreation and culture. Each of these areas has been helped positively by her hard work and experience.

Carolyn has faced and come through many challenges. Because of her persistence, we now run our own COVID and flu clinics, and we have a nurse who connects with our vulnerable homebound seniors. We have an influx of state money for repairs to our roads and farms devastated by storms and floods. Many families and farmers have benefited with little or no cost to the town.

The best example of her fiscal responsibility is the way she pulls together people for projects, carefully planning budgets and costs. She works collaboratively, listens respectfully and gives opinions based on her deep knowledge of state and local laws and every group and organization.

Clearly, Carolyn Shores Ness is a well-qualified and well-respected legislator who demonstrates the qualities of leadership. It’s easy to see why she was named the Greenfield Recorder’s 2021 Citizen of the Year. I hope you will join me in reelecting Carolyn so she can continue to make Deerfield attractive to businesses and people looking for a lively community.

Vote on May 6 to reelect Shores Ness so she can keep investing in Deerfield and moving the town into the future.
